How do I win my first customers?

How do I win my first customers?

This is dedicated to product designers, entrepreneurs and intrapeneurs alike. If you need to sell to make your impact felt, or for your work to be sustainable, this is for you.

We share a common problem: not enough people know about what we do, why we're doing it and where we want to go.

And not enough people go on to become a user, a customer or an advocate.

It's nice to think that our products should speak for themselves.

It feels good to believe that we should build it and "they will come".

But that doesn't work.

Why?

Because unless we ask, the answer will always be no.

We were honoured to run a Master Class at the Monash Generator today (props to Megan Flamer).  The feedback's been positive and so here's a link to the presentation: A collection of thoughts, notes and resources to help you win customers, grow revenue and make your mark.

Power to you.

Who's Ahmed and what's Flow Bench?

If you've worked on a product experience project, you know how messy it can get. Agile boards and project plans fail to give teams a sense of how the experience hangs together. Teams get caught in their own worlds and you find yourself sucked into more orchestration and less execution.

Flow Bench helps diverse teams get clear and collaborate on the overall customer journey.

Whether you're a designer, marketer, developer or product manager - Flow Bench makes you the hero of the journey you're building. Sign up for updates on flowbench.io

As for Ahmed: that's me! I'm a Founder at Flow Bench and super passionate about product and design. Check out my LinkedIn and follow me on Twitter for more.
